The Austrian Post has opened a special post office in the village of Christkindl ("Jesus Child" in German) which is offering to the public, since 1965, two special cancellations valid respectively for Christmas (from Nov 19 to Dec 26) and New Year Seasons (from Dec 27 to Jan 6).
